The Ultimate Test
... not for the faint of heart!
Do you recognize any of the faces below?  Hitler, Hussein, Manson, Dahmer.  Each of them committed horrible
crimes.  Murder, rape, theft, cannibalism, lies, extortion,  blasphemies, and the list goes on.

Hitler, Dahmer and Hussein are dead now, only Manson is alive.  What should the sentence be on them?
Guilty or not guilty, heaven or hell?

Next to them, you and I are squeaky clean!  They were not "good" people.  What about you?  Are you a
good
person?   Are you ready to find out?

6:23).  We will face God on Judgment Day whether you believe in God or not.  What will be your sentence?  Are you guilty or innocent?  Have you broken
God's Commandments?  God gave even a greater commandment in I John 3:23, "This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of Jesus Christ
whom He has sent."  Will God have to show you justice and send you to hell?  Or, will you repent of your sins, turn fully to Jesus Christ, and live the rest of
your life for Him?

Admit it, most of us consider ourselves to be pretty good people.  If we compare ourselves to the four men above, we probably are.  But the Bible looks at
mankind and says that there are two problems.  We have a
BAD HEART and a BAD RECORD.  Look at Mark 7:21-23.  Jesus Christ is speaking to some
people and tells them, "For from within, out of the heart, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness,
as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.  All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man."  In Romans 3:10-18 the Bible
says, "There is
none righteous, not even one... There is none who seeks for God...There is none who do good, there is not even one... There is no fear of God
before their eyes."

Not only do we have a
BAD HEART and we are not good, but we have a BAD RECORD.  If you have ever broken the law, you have destroyed your
clean record.  When you look at the Ten Commandments, God's Law, and realize how often you have broken them, you have to be honest with yourself and
God and admit that you have a
BAD RECORD.  Because you have broken God's Law, you are now facing His justice.  You are guilty and you must pay
the fine.  If you can't make yourself clean with God (which you can't) then you will spend an eternity in God's Hell.  There He will pour out His wrath upon
you for all eternity.  There is no purgatory.

How can you be made right with God (Job 9:2; 15:14; 25:4-6)?  Jesus Christ came to pay the penalty for our sins, to literally take our sins away if we would
sincerely turn to Him in faith, repenting of our sins, agreeing with God that we are sinners and totally deserving His just wrath against us.  As long as you
think you are ok, that you have no need of salvation in Jesus Christ, the wrath of God is resting on your life (John 3:36)and will be fully seen at Judgment
Day and then throughout eternity as you are in hell forever.

Jesus Christ said, "I have come to seek and save the lost."  Do you see yourself lost in your sins and a stranger to God?  Then Jesus can save you.  Jesus Christ
said, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."  If you view yourself as righteous, Jesus has nothing for you.  You must see yourself as
the sinner the Word of God declares you to be.  Then and only then can Jesus Christ call you to repent and turn to Him.

Friend, if you will recognize that you are a sinner justly deserving the wrath of God, that you have nowhere to run to and there is no other way to be saved
from your sins and their consequences, and if you will flee to Jesus Christ and beg for mercy and forgiveness and salvation, He will save you.  God the Father
sent His Son to be the sacrifice for sins and rise from the dead so that all who turn to Him in faith and repentance may be assured of God's loving pardon and
eternal life freely given.  Salvation is a free gift to those who turn to Jesus Christ.  God offers salvation by His grace, which is undeserved favor.  We can't earn
salvation but God will graciously give salvation to the those who go to Him in faith and repentance.  God will give you a
NEW HEART and a CLEAN
RECORD
in Jesus Christ.  In other words, God will justify you, totally wiping away your sins, declaring you to be righteous and make you a brand new
person with godly desires to serve Him.

If you refuse to repent and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation and are found in your sins on Judgment Day, the most ghastly of horrors awaits you.  God is so
holy and awesome that He can allow no sin into His heaven.  He will be forced to dispense His justice on your guilty soul and send you to hell.  He is giving
you this opportunity to repent and turn to Jesus Christ.  Cry out to God, admit your sins to Him, ask His forgiveness and that He save you and give you a
new heart to love and follow Him.  Find a Bible and read it daily and do whatever it says.
